Maybe it's just me, but why would we want to prove the society a liar by lying ourselves? Wouldn't that make us just as bad? I've never made up hours I haven't done, at worst I've 'borrowed' 15 minutes which I knock off next month, which is the same as anything less than an hour carrying over IMO, so the yearly total is true in my case. Probably why I've never been asked to be a MS :)

To All Elders/MS's/ Publishers Who Come Here
by metatron inin the past, you were told that you have the opportunity to prove the devil a liar.
this is a nonsensical claim, given that about 2000 years of martyrdom by christians has already passed.
there's nothing left to prove or disprove.. however, you have the opportunity to prove that the watchtower society is lying: that their organization is unclean and overrun with corruption - as proven by an endless stream of elders/ms's and publishers who come here, wishing that they could leave.. you also have the opportunity to prove that their published statistics are false - by reporting fake hours and placements.. if they don't like it, too bad.

The April 15th (current) Watchtower. Could it be more blasphemous?
by Slidin Fast instartfragment.
this article:- do you discern the evidence of gods guidance?, equates the faithful and discreet slave with moses.
moses, according to the scriptures spoke directly with god and was gods spokesman to the israelites.

I think serenitynow made an excellent point, it reminded me that Job even questioned Jehovahs standards, and he was merely put in his place mildly and almost with a hint of humour, i.e "And where were you when I created the earth?", lol. He wasn't destroyed. But nobody can question the GB without being df'd. And, as one elder I once spoke to put it, "disfellowshipping is basically a death sentence, but we don't use stones today"..

I think that there are a great deal of phrases that jw's often use, likely subconciously, to put pressure on people to be at the next meeting/next service effort, they're programmed in a sense to 'encourage' others to 'do more in Jehovahs service'. I missed an assembly and an elder told me he'd 'missed seeing me' and read me the "not forsaking the gathering of yourselves together" scripture. It wasn't encouraging, all he'd really done was point out what I hadn't done, and I came away more depressed than ever. Someone answered at a meeting once, "peer pressure isn't a bad thing if mostly everyone around you is pioneering". You can't really retaliate when people give you guilt trips about not doing things, you see, because it's only encouragement. You're just looking at it the wrong way :)

Mocking of the Organization from JWs
by NomadSoul inthis is what my aunt told me.. once an elder at the closing of the meeting said this about the revised reasoning book with a sarcastic voice.
"brothers and sisters don't forget to get your copy of the new reasoning book, it has over two hundred revisions!"..
my aunt swears he said it in a sarcastic mocking tone.. i thought it was funny so i had to ask if anybody else had similar stories..

by sleepingbeauty in.
trust in jehovah with all your heart, and do not lean upon your own understanding, in all your ways take notice of him & he will make your paths straight... prov 3:5/6.
this scripture is the scripture that made me blindly accept everything .... because it specified that i not lean upon my own understanding i did exactly that.. is there any particular scripture that you took to heart that kept you blind?.
